Privacy

Classical Radar is a personal, non-commercial project run by Bernard Lahousse in Belgium. This page says what we keep about you and why.

What we keep

Before you sign in, your profile and ratings stay in your own browser and never reach us. When you sign in, what you picked so far is added to your account.

No tracking cookies, no analytics, no advertising. Signing in stores a login token in your browser so you stay signed in. Fonts and images are served from this site. Your browser also contacts Google when you sign in, and Apple when you press play on a 30-second preview, which streams from Apple Music. We never sell or share your data.

Why

To show you the concerts that match your taste on every device you use, and, only if you ask for it, to email you new ones weekly or monthly. The legal basis is the service you ask for when you sign in, and your consent for the emails.

Where it is stored

On Google Cloud (Firebase, including Firebase Authentication) in the EU; the database is in europe-west1 (Belgium). Emails are sent through Resend. Both act as processors on our behalf.

Stopping emails and deleting your data

Every email has a one-click "Stop these emails" link; you can also switch the emails off in Settings. To delete everything, go to Settings, Account and email, "Delete my account and data". Your account and profile are deleted straight away.
